BILL MARSHALL’S LEGACY LIVES ON IN “THE CROWS” AT ETS LEGON DRAMA STUDIO
On the 27th and 28th of May 2023, the ETS Legon Drama Studio was the venue for a spectacular theatrical performance of The Crows, a play written by the late Bill Marshall, the former Director of the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI). The play, directed by the talented Mr. Eyram Evans Adorkor, unfolded from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on both nights, enthralling the audience with its depth and emotion.

The evening opened with a mesmerising poetry performance by Makida El-Husseini, who doubled as the storyteller. El-Husseini’s eulogy was a touching tribute to Marshall’s enduring impact on the arts, and it captured the audience’s attention from the outset.

The cast, which included renowned actor Adjetey Annang and a talented ensemble of performers such as Reginald Ankrah, Adwoa Anima, Xorlali Ofori-Parku, Catherine Elsie Amoah, Michael Anaman, Dorcas Elorm Nimo, and Augustine Enninful, delivered stellar performances. Each actor brought their character to life with passion, contributing to a compelling narrative that left the audience deeply moved.
