“BRIDE AT WAR” CAST GEARS UP FOR UNFORGETTABLE PERFORMANCES AT EFUA SUTHERLAND DRAMA STUDIO

As the 28th and 29th of September 2024 draw near, anticipation is soaring for Kritik Production's latest theatrical masterpiece, “Bride at War”. Set to be performed at the Efua Sutherland Drama Studio, the play promises to deliver an unforgettable blend of drama, emotion, and inspiration that will leave audiences both entertained and introspective.

With precision and passion, our directors ensure every scene leaves a lasting impact.

At the heart of “Bride at War” lies a powerful story of family, faith, and the complex dynamics that often accompany marriage. The play delves into the intricate challenges that arise in relationships, offering a uniquely Christian perspective on why women are called brides and men are called grooms—a revelation that unravels as the story unfolds. From broken marriages on the brink of collapse to shocking family revelations, “Bride at War” is set to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

When love hopes for healing, smiles hide the deepest battles.

The narrative follows Mr. Abotre, a devoted father and counselor, who is thrust into the emotional turmoil of one of his daughters' troubled relationship and the other’s marriage. With relationships hanging by a thread, and his son returning home with a pregnant woman carrying secrets of her own, Mr. Abotre and his wife find themselves confronting not only their children's dilemmas but also discovering new layers in their own marriage. The climactic moment arrives when the family is brought to their knees, praying for deliverance—leaving the audience to wonder: Can love and faith heal all wounds?

Will they survive the battles within their home?

The cast and crew are pouring heart and soul into making “Bride at War” a production to remember. Rehearsals have been in full swing, with the cast working tirelessly to bring their characters to life in ways that feel authentic and relatable. “We are all giving 100% every day because we believe in the message of this play,” said Naa Kwarkor, a key cast member. “I just can’t wait for audiences to see this amazing, fun, and exciting play—and to take away lessons that will stay with them long after the curtain falls.” She added.
